All over the world Tuscany is synonym of beauty: art, nature, fashion. But also taste is something special here, because Tuscany is an area rich of unique flavours and food products. The pecorino cheese, the Colonnata lard and the panforte, just to name few of the most important Tuscan DOP and IGP specialties. Not to mention the wines: Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino, Vernaccia, Sassicaia, Morellino di Scansano, Sangiovese are only the tip of the iceberg of dozens DOCG, DOC and IGT.

And then there is its majesty the extra virgin olive oil. Olive trees are the stars of the Tuscan landscape. You can taste different kind of DOP extra virgin olive oil like the Chianti Classico, the Lucca, the Seggiano, the Terre di Siena or the IGP extra virgin olive oil of Tuscany.

The hills around Leccio and Reggello are planted with wines and olive trees. According to the legend, this area olive trees were born from an olive fallen on Earth from Olympus during a banquet of gods. Anyway, the oil coming from here – the IGP extra virgin olive oil of Reggello toscano – is known for its low level of acidity and the particular organoleptic features, thanks to the altitude above sea level and the land, poor in limestone and rich in quartz.
